10 Interesting Facts about Banana's

 Not many people like bananas, personally i don`t hate them but I don`t love them ether. So what is it with this yellow moon shaped fruit so inserting, well today I will tell you why.

1, Bananas are actually naturally Radioactive. This is because they contain high amounts of Potassium.














2. There are approximately 1000 different types of banana plants to this day. Most of them are diseased because they are grown in humid countries like Cameroon, so we might never see the humble banana ever again.















3. The phrase 'Going Bananas' was fist recorded in the Oxford English Dictionary and is linked to bananas comic connection to monkeys.






















4 .Despite their firm texture and rather dry mouth-feel, bananas are composed of 75% water.















5. In Britain, we eat over five billion bananas every year. That is on average, every person in Britain consumes just under 2 bananas a week (although some people don`t eat bananas and some have 1 a day)


  












6. The inside of a banana skin can be used to polish shoes. So no need to buy shoe polish any more when you have the humble banana.













7. The Inside of the banana peel can also be used to whiten your teeth, just gently rub around the outside of your teeth for 2 minuets.




















8. Bananas can help stop depression, This is because bananas contain a protein called tryptophan, which converts to serotonin. Serotonin helps you relax and can make you feel better too. 
















9. Having trouble passing your exams? Try eating a banana! The potassium in the fruit will help you stay focused and alert.























10. If the sun were made of bananas, it would be just as hot. Bananas would create just as much pressure and therefore create just as much heat.










My Pooch

My mind if full of strange, weird and all out RANDOM thing, but the biggest section of my mind is full of DOGS. More than half of that section is full of not just any dog, its my dog.

Ever since i could remember I loved dogs, even tho I was a bit scared of them at first but I soon got use to them. Thinking back now I wonder, how I ever copped without a companion such as a dog.
When my pooch, Fraser, came into the family, he was like a fluffy angel with paws, but now he is still cute but very cheeky. Fraser is a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle, with is a Cockapoo, Fraser loves so many things, these are a few.
